About the Founder

Mr. Ashik — the founder of Mehrins Cattery — is a Certified Feline Behaviour Specialist, educator, and lifelong cat enthusiast.

His journey with cats began at the age of 5, when his fascination with feline behavior turned into a lifelong passion. Over the years, he developed a deep understanding of cats — their instincts, emotions, and unique communication.

Before dedicating himself fully to the feline world, Mr. Ashik served as a respected Polytechnic Lecturer. However, his love for cats grew beyond a hobby — it became his life’s calling. He eventually resigned from his teaching career to follow his true passion: caring for, studying, and improving the lives of cats.

Today, that decision stands as the foundation of Mehrins Cattery, one of India’s most reputed and ethically driven feline institutions.

Under his leadership, Mehrins Cattery has evolved into a center for purebred breeding, behavior training, and holistic feline care — a place where science meets compassion.
